1Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/2034 of 22 July 2024 amending Decision (CFSP) 2022/667 on an assistance measure taking the form of a general programme for support to the African Union under the European Peace Facility for the period 2022-2024

Article 1 of Decision (CFSP) 2022/667 is amended as follows:

(1) paragraph 1 is replaced by the following:

1. An assistance measure taking the form of a general programme for support to the African Union (AU) to be financed under the European Peace Facility (EPF) (the Assistance Measure) is hereby established. The Assistance Measure shall finance actions approved by the Political and Security Committee (PSC) by 31 December 2025.

(2) paragraph 4 is replaced by the following:

1. The duration of the Assistance Measure shall be 96 months from 1 January 2022..

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
